White Widow - Strain Review

This strain is a former cannabis cup winner known for it's high THC percentages and is a favorite on the menus in Amsterdam. Lets see how it works as a medical strain.

About White Widow

This is a Sativa dominant strain. Super head high and very happy feelings as well as helping with minor muscle muscle pain before bed. The THC is around 24% and CBD of 0.70%. Since it has such a low CBD content I was very concerned about pain relief, but it worked a little bit for relaxing my muscles.

I always ask myself would I grow this strain again and the answer is MAYBE.

It is very easy to grow and we did the Feminized version from Crop King Seeds and it is easy to grow indoors and outside. One 12 inch tall by 13 inch wide plant spread by a screen produced a solid 2 oz.

Final Rating as a Medical Patient

  • Pain Relief - Not Very Good

  • Sleep Inducing - Not Bad

  • Mental Uplifting - Very Very Good

So in closing this is a great uplifting strain for a day smoker but it is not really for me. It is not real good for pain and I will be reviewing other strains that I would use instead if I was in really bad evening pain. But for evening relaxation to watch a movie or hang out with friends it would be great but that is not what I am looking for as a medical patient.

About the Author

I have been a been a medical patient for about 8 years and suffer from Chronic Insomnia and Mild Body Pain once I am ready to rest at night. I have tried all of the strains I review and look for the best strain to relieve the ailments I mentioned above before bed.

Edibles are hit an miss with me as well as the time for edibles to take effect and if it even takes effect, so all reviews are from smoked pure bud, normally cured for 2 months, and from the top cola or top buds of the plants.
